Anglers Insight Marketing

Over the years many well thought out walleye tournament formats have been developed and put into motion ranging from those key local and regional events all the way to the national tournaments of today. Each of these tournaments are important to the future of the fishing industry. AIM supports this very same objective yet through the introduction of truly unique tournament formats that have been designed by walleye anglers for walleye anglers.
In early January 2008 a group of walleye tournament anglers met in Bloomington, Minnesota to discuss the future of professional walleye tournaments. During those discussions several items were addressed, including the current status of the tournament world, the fishing industry, and the changing business environment in which walleye tournaments exist today. At the conclusion of this meeting those in attendance agreed to appoint an exploratory committee to investigate and establish a company with the mission of creating, for the first time in professional walleye angling, a company owned by investor anglers that would operate walleye tournaments for walleye anglers while developing creative venues for the fishing industry as a whole.
While the concept of participant-owned sport organizations may be new to the fishing tournament world, the overall concept is far from new. Other sports have traveled similar paths down the same road that tournament anglers have been on for many years. At various times participants of those sports have banded together and formed organizations that many viewed as impossible. An example of this occurred when a group of professional bull riders took control of their own destiny in the mid 90’s to create the Professional Bull Riders Association.
With the formation of Anglers Insight Marketing, LLC (AIM) this concept has become a reality and AIM was formed as a limited liability company in February 2008 under the laws of Minnesota.
Anglers Insight Marketing’s vision is to become the industry leader in competitive angling through the insight and knowledge of its owners who are predominantly participants in the sport.
AIM’s vision for leadership:
These will be exciting times in the walleye world, and AIM looks forward to sharing with you this new chapter in competitive walleye angling.
